2027 Kia Seltos: Pricing Announced

The 2027 Kia Seltos is among the most anticipated vehicles of the year, and for good reason. The Korean automaker’s small SUV has received a significant update, highlighted by the addition of a hybrid variant to the lineup.

The model is already very popular in its current form, but the next-generation Seltos promises to be even more appealing. For starters, the Korean automaker’s small SUV features a more dynamic and rugged design, with a larger and bolder front fascia than ever before. This area now incorporates the brand’s signature amber daytime running lights, a design element found on most Kia models. Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned and streamlined to deliver a more premium and enjoyable experience.

Under the hood, the Korean automaker’s small SUV continues to offer a standard 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine. A turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine also remains available. We now know that a hybrid version will join the lineup at a later date, something we are eager to discover.

Pricing

The 2027 Kia Seltos will start at $31,858 including freight and pre-delivery inspection fees, representing an increase of roughly $2,400 compared to the current model. Next up are the all-wheel-drive LX and EX trims, priced at $33,858 and $36,858 respectively. The EX Premium follows at $40,158. The X-Line and X-Line Limited trims are offered from $42,658 and $44,658. These are the versions equipped with the turbocharged engine.

As Kia noted in its press release, the Seltos has sold more than 110,747 units in Canada since its introduction in 2020, an impressive figure, especially for a completely new vehicle that arrived seemingly out of nowhere. As a result, we can certainly expect the model to continue its meteoric rise in popularity with the arrival of this new generation.
